
According to the Global Information Technology Report 2014 compiled by the World Economic Forum, Ghana is ranked 46 among the 148 countries monitored in global competitiveness in the area of Maths and Science.
The report provides an assessment of networked readiness, or how prepared an economy is to apply the benefits of information and communications technologies (ICTs) to promote national economic growth and well-being. According to the report, Ghana’s education system in general is of very good quality ranked at 46 out of 148; which puts Ghana first in Africa, Nigeria was 133rd and South Africa ranked at 146 out of 148; the last in Africa.
