Former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 announced that he was leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The announcement was made via his official Twitter account.
It would be recalled that Orubebe caused a stir on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 when he disrupted the announcement of the results of the presidential election, calling for the replacement of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega over allegations of bias.
See the tweets below:
I have concluded plans to join my folks in the APC to champion and sustain the movement for a better Niger Delta in the new administration.
