Is D'Prince Hiding Under Don Jazzy's Shadow?

Call him the baby of Marvin Records and you are not far from the truth. He will gladly tell you he accepts the title. Amidst laughter, D’Prince, who is the youngest and most reserved of the Marvin Records crew, says he intends to remain that way for a long time to come.

Many however are of the opinion that D'Prince (real name Charles Enebeli) is not a good artiste but manages to remain in the industry because of his brother, Don Jazzy.

Here is how he reacted to such insinuations:

“It is never easy when you are related to a legend in any industry. All I can say is that the new album, which is my first, is coming out and hopefully it will be judged on its merits. I am first an individual and then an artiste, which makes me unique. Yes, being Don Jazzy’s brother is a plus. But it has not in any way robbed me of my talent or made me a lazy artiste. I am proud of who I am and as such not hiding under Don Jazzy’s shadow.”

For me D'prince is a talented guy.Writing lyrics of a song like 'Give it to me know' isn't an easy 1,A plus is when he released 'Take Banana' which a lot of people like listening to,so i strongly disagree that he is hiding under Don Jazzy's Shadow.D producer and beat Maker makes the song sound better its not his work to write the lyrics.
