Sunny Nneji who describes his brand of music as Pop Afrik, a mix of contemporary highlife, pop and a tinge of R&B has been relatively quiet on the music scene for a while especially since the release of his ‘Timeless’ album in 2011.However, the ‘Lovey Dovey’ crooner who is looking to celebrate his birthday today at the Winning Castle Orphanage in Ibadan, is also concluding work on another single titled, Finally, which he describes as another wedding song.
The audio is ready, while work is ongoing for the video. But he is taking his time before putting the audio on air as he wants Sibo (his recently released single to roll a little more).
The Ogoja native explained why he is working on another ‘wedding-like’ song; “After Oruka, people have been asking me to do something else on the same subject. Some have said that I should remix Oruka. But I feel that even if I would do that I want to do another wedding banger.”
