The Lagos Lawn Tennis Club was three quarter filled earlier this afternoon when sisters Venus and Serena Williams took to the centre court in an exhibition game as part of their visit to Nigeria.
An exhibition match between two young Nigerian girls preceded the Williams sisters’ match. The tie which ended in favour of elder sister Venus, 6-4, 7-5, saw Venus dance to D’banj’s “Oliver Twist” during a break.
Meanwhile, the sisters depart Lagos, Nigeria for South Africa but not before Serena showed her love for Nigeria via her twitter handle ‘Serena Williams @serenawilliams Amazing tonight in Nigeria. Wow what a reception. I truly love you guys!! #NigeriaRocks.
